Main purpose of the processing: the purpose will be to manage your registration on the MPA customer platform, allowing you to access the functionalities it incorporates, among which are the following: remotely control the security system through mobile devices, access images and recordings, connect or disconnect the security system, link smart devices, activation of the functionalities of the ContiGo service, such as "Panic Button" and "Countdown", check invoices, receive alerts and notifications.

Legitimate basis: the data will be processed based on the execution of the contract between the parties, their consent and legitimate interest.

Potential recipients of the data:

  • Public authorities, Security Forces and Corps, judges or courts.
  • Companies of the "PROSEGUR Group", and companies of the Telefónica Group under the MOVISTAR brand.
  • Other subcontractors for installation, incident management and other service provision.

Data protection rights: you can revoke at any time the consent granted for the processing of personal data by MPA, as well as exercise, if you are interested in doing so, your rights of access, rectification, deletion, opposition, limitation of data processing, data portability, as well as not to be subject to automated decisions. 1. MPA Information

This document regulates the privacy policy of MPA's client platform accessible through mobile applications and websites (hereinafter the "Platform"). In this regard, this privacy policy regulates the data processing carried out by MPA in relation to customers and/or users interested in the Platform, who access or transmit information through it. It therefore reflects the information relating to the processing with respect to the different categories of data subjects indicated.

2. Purposes and legitimacy

You are informed that all the data that MPA requests or may collect from you is necessary for the purposes described in this privacy policy and failure to provide them may make it impossible for you to contact you or manage the request you make to MPA. Likewise, MPA reserves the right not to respond to or process requests that do not include the data requested.

You guarantee the veracity of the personal data provided to MPA.

MPA may periodically request that you review and update the personal data it holds about you.

The processing of this data will be carried out for the purpose of managing your registration, registration and use of the MPA Platform, allowing you to access the functionalities it incorporates, including the following:

(i) remote access to the security system installed through your mobile device, allowing you to take images from various detectors, access your cameras live, review recordings, connect or disconnect the security system from anywhere, as well as activate audio recording in your business when you leave your alarm connected, although, once this device is disconnected, Audio recording will be automatically disabled.

We inform you that in order to access these functionalities, it is required that you grant permissions to access videos, photos, multimedia files and sounds of the device through the Application, and it will not be possible to provide the service offered by the Application in the event of denial.

(ii) linking smart devices (e.g. mobile phones, smart speakers or the Movistar Smart Wifi Router, among others).

  • In case of using smart speakers, you will be asked to access the country and zip code of the device. This information will be used by MPA to tailor information about security events to the relevant language and time zone. The information exchanged with the smart devices will consist of:
    • A token or identification code for the authentication of your MPA user account, so that you do not have to enter your username and password every time you want to use this functionality.
    • The actions you request from your smart device to MPA (e.g., activate the alarm, take a photo, etc.)
    • Security events that you request to be read by your smart device.
  • In the event that you decide to link MPA's services to your Movistar Smart Wifi Router and share data from third parties for the use of this service, you guarantee that you have obtained their consent.
  • In the event that you decide to view the images captured by the MPA security system on your television, through the Telefónica Movistar + application, your data will be transferred to Telefónica España S.A. for this purpose.

(iii) view contracts, services and payment methods.

(iv) consult and download invoices.

(v) modify the contact details for warnings in the event of alarm triggers.

(vi) receiving alerts and notifications.

(vii) activate and use various functionalities of the ContiGo service, such as the "Panic Button" and "Countdown", which are described below:

  • Panic Button: in case of emergency, through the press of a button in the mobile APP, the user will activate an emergency protocol that will allow the operator of the MPA Alarm Receiving Center (ARC) (a) to display the positioning of the user's mobile phone and (b) to display a video and audio clip from the terminal's camera and microphone, as long as the user has granted the corresponding access permissions of the application to the device's GPS, camera and microphone.
  • Countdown: allows you to establish a time period, after which, without being cancelled by the user, an emergency protocol will be activated that will allow the operator of the MPA Alarm Receiving Center to display the positioning of the user's mobile phone, as long as the user has granted the corresponding access permissions of the application to the device's GPS.

Users will be able to disable the permissions for the ContiGo app's access to the device's geopositioning, camera and microphone at any time, although the functionalities incorporated in the application may be limited or impeded.

(viii) use MPA's Intelligent Recognition system if you have contracted it. This system consists of the identification of events through automated video analysis with artificial intelligence, and the reception of alerts and video clips in real time through the Application, contributing to the improvement of comfort in the home. The system can perform:

  • Recognition of movement of people and pets: It allows differentiating whether the event has been originated by a person, animal or thing.
  • Sound recognition: It allows you to recognize different sounds, such as baby crying, dog barking, glass breakage, alarm, etc.

The different purposes for which your personal data are processed and the bases that legitimize the processing are described below:

In the event that you, as a customer, register on the online store platform, carry out the administrative tasks that arise from the management of the registration and registration on said platform.

Manage the sending and receiving of alerts and notifications related to the current status of the installed alarm.

Allow the management of the smart device, Movistar's Smart Wifi Router, as well as access to the functionalities it incorporates, such as sending notifications.

Allow access to the functionalities incorporated in MPA's Intelligent Recognition service, in case of contracting it.

Use the Panic Button and Countdown functionalities, provided that the user requests and grants the necessary access permissions.

Manage technical incidents of the App, as well as complaints and queries from its customers and users.

Linking MPA services to a smart device that has this capability available (such as smart speakers), whenever requested by the user.

Transfer of data, by MPA, to companies of the Prosegur Group (additional information in https://www.prosegur.com) and to the companies of the Telefónica Group under the Movistar brand (more information in https://www.movistar.es/privacidad), so that they can send commercial communications, by any means, of products and services of both Groups and to be able to receive discounts and promotional advantages.

Consent

Transfer of data, by MPA, to companies in the financial, insurance, energy and real estate sectors, in order to send commercial communications, by any means, and to be able to receive discounts and promotional advantages.

Forwarding, by MPA, by any means, of commercial communications of products and services other than those contracted by the Prosegur Group, products or services of the Telefónica Group marketed under the MOVISTAR brand or of third parties, in the telecommunications, audiovisual, cybersecurity, financial, insurance, mobility, energy and real estate sectors and thus be able to receive discounts and promotional advantages. Sending commercial communications related to MPA products and services similar to those contracted. In this case, MPA's legitimate interest is based on keeping you informed and updated on products or services that may be of interest to you.

Legitimate Interest

Use your personal data to assess the extent to which the data subject uses the Platform. In this case, MPA's legitimate interest is based on its interest in improving the customer experience.

Sending communications through instant messaging applications, such as WhatsApp Business, in order to manage and claim an existing outstanding debt with MPA.

3. Origin of the data

The personal data that MPA processes in the exercise of its activity are:

  2. Collected automatically through the use of the Platform and/or devices connected to it; or
  3. MPA collaborating entities.

In this regard, we inform you that in order to access the functionality of remote access to the security system through your mobile device, you are required to grant permissions to access videos, photos and multimedia files of the device through the MPA application, and it will not be possible to provide the service offered by the application if it is denied.

In this way, only the data strictly necessary for the fulfilment of the above purpose will be processed.

4. Third-party data access

The personal data you provide to MPA may be communicated to the following categories of recipients:

  • Third parties to whom MPA is obliged to transmit information, such as public authorities, Law Enforcement Agencies, judges or courts, this communication will be made on the basis of compliance with a legal obligation;

This information exchanged with your smart device will consist of:

Likewise, MPA's service providers, with whom this entity has contracted the services of (i) professional advice, (ii) administrative management, (iii) installation and maintenance of systems, (iv) incident management, (v) hosting (vi) logistics, (vii) marketing (viii) digital services, (ix) marketing and (x) collection management may access the data of MPA's customers

Service providers may be located in countries with a level of data protection not comparable to that of Europe, although MPA will have the appropriate guarantees to carry out such international data transfers. 5. Data retention

The storage period of your data will be determined according to the duration of your relationship with MPA and the legally established periods. In this sense, the criteria that MPA uses to set the retention periods of your data have been determined in accordance with the requirements established in the applicable legislation, regulations and normative guidelines, as well as the operational requirements of MPA related to the correct management of the relationship with the users of the Platform.

In particular, your data will not be kept for a period of more than six (6) years from the end of any possible contractual relationship between you and PROSEGUR, the previous period having been set in accordance with Article 30 of the Commercial Code, with the exception of images and, where appropriate, sounds, which are captured by systems that will be kept for a maximum period of thirty (30) days. as established in art. 22.3 of Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights.

Notwithstanding the above, in the event that there is an ongoing procedural procedure in relation to you, your data may be kept for the additional time necessary until a final court decision is obtained.
